To provide quality pharmaceutical care for the benefit of patients, thus ensuring that the medicines provided to each individual patient are safe, effective, economic and rational. Our service should also detect, solve and prevent actual, and potential medicine related problems in order to improve the patient's overall care.
About us
Pharmacists, technicians and an assistant make up our friendly team that provides an input to all specialities across the organisation.
Dispensing and technical roles are delegated to experienced technical staff enabling pharmacists to focus on ensuring optimum utilisation of drugs for the benefit of patient care. We believe pharmacists can best achieve this by working in partnership with other professionals and direct patient contact.
There is an established pharmacist validation and technician checking system with the roles, responsibilities and activities of all staff being clearly defined. We develop our staff to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.
