*The Department of Spiritual and Pastoral Care
*chapel2004The St Andrew’s Healthcare chaplains are available to offer spiritual and pastoral care, pastoral counselling, ‘a listening ear’, and support to patients, relatives, carers, visitors and staff.

*The Chaplaincy seeks to serve the spiritual needs of people of all faiths and none, and respects everyone’s beliefs and cultural background.

The chaplains are always available to patients and staff for confidential consultation in times of personal anxiety, stress, or bereavement and may be contacted through the Hospital switchboard.

*The Hospital Chapel and the Multi-Faith Prayer Room are both available to patients and staff for prayer, reflection and quietness throughout the day. The Prayer Room is open 24/7.

Sunday and mid-week services are held in the Chapel to which all are welcome. Muslim Friday Prayers for patients and staff are held in the
Multi-Faith Prayer Room. Ward services and Chaplaincy groups take place throughout the Hospital.
